Chirocom.com’s number one priority is the health and safety of our community. In view of the current COVID-19 outbreak, we urge our community to follow the most recent government guidance.

We can still help each other. Chirocom.com is a fantastic resource for communities to obtain important internet services, locate work from home employment or essential vocations, and to support one another through the others category.

It’s essential to remember that Chirocom.com is more than just a marketplace for buying and selling items; it was created on the ideas of serving and connecting people. A local support network has never been more important, and we remain committed to assisting individuals in safely assisting one another.

How you can help:

Be the good in your neighborhood

If you want to help your local community in any way, check out our others category. The little things we all do, whether it’s assisting a neighbor with their shopping or simply checking in with individuals who may be isolating themselves, can make a big difference to someone who is vulnerable.

Trading in your community

Those who are purchasing or selling should give as many images and as much information about the products they are trading as feasible. Make sure to ask and answer a lot of questions.

Practice good hygiene

Whether selling in person or through other means, all users should clean items as per Government guidance.

We also recommend that buyers receiving an item clean the item and wash their hands before touching their face.

We recommend all users visit the Government website on Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention to learn more about precautions to take at this time.

Respect your community

Please remember to respect your local community. On Chirocom.com, this means being polite and observant when buying or selling. It also means not exploiting the current situation for commercial gain. We previously moved to restrict the sale of items that were in high demand such as hand sanitizers and PPE, and will move to do the same if required. If you own items that are in high demand, we would ask you to consider donating them to local groups and organizations who need them most.

We will also remove ads that mention Covid-19 or Coronavirus that could be deemed insensitive.

We will continue to monitor the situation, but encourage users to report any ads they deem incorrect, misleading, deceptive or insensitive by using the report ad button.

We are in this together

We’re all in this together. We’re all making changes in our daily lives. And it is essential that we give importance to the government’s advice.
